Speedwork Session 2

FYI. 2nd session of speedwork is this Tuesday, September 6th at 6pm, meeting at Fleet-Feet store, then running the 1-mile as warm-up down to Rohrman Park to do the intervals around there loop trail system.

This workout is a "ladder-up-down" session and we stay on top of that ladder before we ratchet down. So, we start with 1 x 400, then 1 x 800, then 2 x 1600, then take it down with an 800, followed by a 400, then CD run/jog back to the store. Oh, you get 90s rest or recovery in between run-intervals, just like last time.

Details on how fast to run each interval will be given at the work-out, but won't be any more stressful than what you ran at last week's Yasso 800's session. And, the 1-mile repeats are done at less intensity, say 15-30s faster than marathon pace, maybe a little more if you are a Novice just running that slow, steady plod you do on LR training.
